Having a urethane backbone enables Durawax to overcome the durability shortcomings of the wax type finishes on the market today. Being a one-step finish, it uses approximately one-third of the materials and labor required for the typical stain-seal-topcoat systems. A 60+ percent reduction in VOC emissions can be expected. Durawax has an exceptional look and feel. Product colors are available in Dark brown and Clear. Lighter shades can be obtained by intermixing. Application Instructions: Durawax is formulated for Hot Spray applications. It must be heated to 125 - 135o F, with either an in-line paint heater, or a thermostatically controlled drum, pail heater, or similar device for optimum results. DO NOT WIPE ON. Suitable for conventional, HVLP, and airless spray application. Allow Durawax to flash dry from 1-5 minutes, depending on temperature and air movement. Wipe off excess, taking care not to scrub clean. Buff to desired gloss after 30 minutes to 4 hours dry time. Technical Data: Appearance-Slushy liquid at room temperature. Smooth, "stain-like" liquid at 125 - 135o F.
